SPECK is a name to remember. I wish Sparta TN had more contractors like Speck Electric. They give the customer the best service possible. Hired Speck Family Electric to do the electrical work on our bew construction barndominium build. We are about 2/3 of the way through the build and Dennis and his crew have been very professional and attentive to the details. Dennis knows TN code and ensures his work is spot on. They do what they say and do it well. Great work ethic and willing to be flexible when it’s important to the build process. Very happy with our decision to hire Speck Family Electric.

What a great company to do business with, when electrical work is needed. Dennis installed a type 2 Whole house surge protector. Dennis has outstanding communication skills and is a great listener. Even though he is extremely busy, he doesn't rush through the job, and thoroughly explains what he is doing. While he was here, he took the time to look at 3 Electric projects that I want to do. He took valuable time and measurements while thoroughly looking at at each project location. Dennis made sound recommendations and provided ball park estimate on one of the projects. April 1, 2024 A GFI in the garage failed, which affected, overhead lights, garage door opener, outside spotlights and an outlet. Dennis responded very quickly, made an appointment; arrived on time and resolved the problem with the GFI. In addition, Dennis Installed 2 new overhead garage lights, which were difficult to get centered/straight due to the design. However, Dennis is creative and was able to install the lights straight and solidly by modifying the location of the light bracket. Speck Family Electric is reliable, dependable and competent. We are new to the area and needed a panel upgrade for our home. We contacted Speck Electric to do the work. Dennis came out, inspected the existing panel and gave us an estimate within a couple of days. Dennis is AMAZING, takes his time to explain everything, and is honest about what is and is not needed! We had transfer switch installed so we can utilize our portable generator, or when guests come with a camper they can plug in. We will absolutely be having him back for any further electrical work needed on the property.

They use modern tools to manage everything but still provide old-fashioned service.
